About: A 52.2-km-long artery connecting areas within the UAE capital Abu Dhabi and the Al Dhafra region. The project's scope of work includes building a route that connects Madinat Zayed to Al Mirfa located at Al Dhafra Region, Abu Dhabi. The project involves a 2-lane dual carriageway, an upper interchange, three under-crossings for U-turns, turnaround and crossing of wild animals, and construction of four ducts and three utility protection bridges. The road helps reduce traveling time and improve the transportation. This project is developed with highest international standards and specifications. The AED635.7 million road is one of the major infrastructure projects, which will help to strengthen the economy and society of the Al Dhafra Region.
